Embracing its 16th century origins, distinctive architecture and marvelous riverside hotel location in Ross on Wye, today the Wilton Court Restaurant with rooms brings added colour to the Elizabethan building thanks to an intriguing collection of decorative curios and objects d`art collected by the owners, Helen and Roger Wynn from their time living and working in the Far East. Helen and Roger have stamped their combined experience of the hotel world on this enchanting ten bedroom riverside Restaurant with rooms in Ross on Wye.

This has set Wilton Court in a league of its own to visitors of Herefordshire and Ross on Wye, seeking a romantic and relaxing weekend or a short break with great value for money, great food and a very warm welcome. Wilton Court’ past awards include ‘Restaurant of the Year’ at the Forester Business Awards 2014 and 2016, finalist in 2017. The awards were not held in 2018 , Wilton Court has entered the 2019 awards which will be announced in April 2019.

They were finalist in the Flavours of Herefordshire Awards since 2003 and awarded ”Restaurant of the Year” 2009 and 2011. Pictured right Helen and Roger at the 2012 awards and Helen with Jules Hudson well known presenter of BBC 2 Escape to the Country being presented with a Bronze Award in the Gourmet category. Sadly due to lack of funding the awards ceased in 2013.

Wilton Court is the only AA 5 Gold Stars Restaurant with rooms, two rosettes and a breakfast award” in Herefordshire.

Wilton Court is also Visit Wales only 5 star restaurant with rooms  with a Gold Award in Herefordshire.

Other  past awards include `Silver Winners` within the `Guest accommodation Restaurant with rooms` and `Taste of the Heart` categories in the `The Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards` drawn from across Birmingham, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.

They  are delighted to be recommended by the Good Hotel Guide , Alistair Sawday and Great Little places to stay.
